We have an exciting opportunity of a varied role as a senior member of our IT Team, providing effective assistance in all aspects of our business across our 38 site network across the North of England.
Key Duties:
* Provide 2nd/3rd line IT support to colleagues by phone, e-mail, remotely and in person working to SLA thresholds.
* Help support, configure and develop the ERP solution used for the company’s core operations.
* Lead and mentor less experienced team members once at an advanced level with our ERP solution.
* Lead minor projects to integrate or develop security tools, networking changes, new software, ready new branches for opening, etc.
* Collaborate with other departments using technology to improve operations in our branches as well as the Support Centre.
* Developing business intelligence to support decision making in sales, purchasing, transport and stock control.
* Active directory and domain administration.
Skills Required
With 2 or more years’ experience in a related role, you’ll need to be a great communicator at all levels with a customer-focussed approach, displaying patience and professionalism. We’re looking for excellent problem solving and diagnostic capabilities as well as good organisational skills, a knowledge of SQL and the ability to prioritise issues and manage own workload. Experience working with 3rd party partners/suppliers or in a supervisory role of a support team would be advantageous. A full UK Driving License and own transport enabling you to travel to remote offices is a must. In addition, an understanding of basic networking VLANS, Office 365 admin experience would be a significant advantage
