JSS Search are proud to be partnering with a successful company based in Hertfordshire recruiting an excellent new Group Reporting Manager role. This is an ideal role for an ACA or ACCA qualified audit trained accountant with at least 5 years post qualified experience in group accounting, group consolidation and group controls or as Audit Manager/Senior Manager.

The ideal candidate will have audited listed PLC companies and have knowledge and experience of group consolidation, IFRS 15 & IFRS 16 and goodwill, fair value and share based payments.

The Role: The Group Reporting and Controls Manager role will be responsible for:

  • Leading the group financial reporting, ensuring compliance
  • Managing the year-end audit process efficiently working with group auditors
  • Managing the consolidation of results from multiple businesses
  • Partnering closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Business Finance teams to ensure cohesive end-to-end finance processes and controls
  • Managing complex accounting queries as and when they arise
  • Managing and mentoring group finance staff
  • Improving processes, systems and controls
  • Assisting in IFRS conversion project

Profile: This Group Reporting and Controls Manager role requires the following:

  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA) and Audit trained ideally in big 4
  • At least 2-3 years post qualified experience in group controls and group reporting roles ideally in larger companies
  • Up to date experience in UK GAAP/IFRS accounting, group consolidation, IFRS 15 & 16; goodwill, fair value and share based payments.

On Offer: Circa £80,000 -£90,000 plus bonus and hybrid working based in Hertfordshire 2 or 3 days per week.
