We're partnering with a leading international consumer goods business undergoing a significant period of transformation and growth. This is an opportunity to join a central Supply Chain Finance team in a highly visible role supporting a global Procurement organisation responsible for billions of pounds of spend across raw materials, packaging, co-manufactured products and indirect procurement. The role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, systems and transformation, making it ideal for someone with a strong background in Procurement Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Product Costing or Manufacturing Finance.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, forecasting and budgeting processes across procurement finance
- Deliver reporting and analysis on procurement spend, inflation and productivity initiatives
- Own and continuously improve planning and reporting systems and associated processes
- Support large-scale ERP and finance transformation programmes
- Drive automation, standardisation and process improvement initiatives
- Partner with procurement, operations, commercial finance and IT stakeholders across multiple regions
- Manage governance, controls and audit requirements
- Coach and develop an analyst within the team
About you
We're looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Procurement Finance
- Supply Chain Finance
- Manufacturing / Factory Finance
- Product Costing
You’ll also bring:
- Likely a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- FMCG, manufacturing or consumer goods experience
- Strong SAP knowledge and understanding of product costing processes
- Experience improving systems, processes or ways of working
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A continuous improvement mindset and an appetite to drive change
This is not a traditional commercial finance role. We're specifically looking for someone who enjoys the technical, operational and transformational side of finance.
