Legal Transformation Lead – Higher Education (Contract)

JSS are currently partnered with a Higher Education client seeking a Legal Transformation Lead to support the design and implementation of a new Target Operating Model (TOM) across both professional and academic services.

This role will focus on transforming the legal function, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders from General Counsel/CLO level through to in-house legal teams and operational staff. You will drive change across processes, governance, and service delivery, ensuring a more efficient, modern legal service.

A key aspect of the role will be embedding service design principles, improving how legal services are delivered across the institution, with a strong emphasis on user experience and process optimisation.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience leading legal transformation programmes
  • Strong background in service design and operating model development
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders across legal and professional services
  • Higher Education experience highly desirable

Contract details:

  • Hybrid working – 2–3 days per week on-site in London
