We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager – AI Delivery to lead the end-to-end delivery of exciting AI, Generative AI and intelligent automation initiatives within a regulated banking environment.
Sitting within the Transformation & Change function, you’ll work across Product, Data, Engineering, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, Information Security and Operations to take AI solutions from initial concept through to successful production deployment.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for delivering a range of AI-enabled transformation initiatives, which could include Generative AI, internal AI assistants, customer-facing conversational AI, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, knowledge-management solutions and machine-learning capabilities.
Key responsibilities will include
- Leading AI and automation projects from initial business case and planning through design, build, testing, implementation and post-launch review.
- Managing project plans, budgets, resources, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across AI/Data, Engineering, Product, Architecture, Operations and third-party suppliers.
- Managing senior stakeholders and providing clear reporting through steering committees, programme boards and governance forums.
- Ensuring AI solutions meet appropriate regulatory, security, data privacy, model risk and Responsible AI requirements.
- Supporting release and go-live activities, including operational readiness, change approvals, deployment and transition into BAU.
- Driving user adoption, benefits realisation and measurable business outcomes.
- Managing external AI technology partners, Saa S providers and other third-party suppliers.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced Technology Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex technology change, ideally within banking or regulated financial services.
You should have
- Experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, intelligent automation or advanced analytics initiatives.
- Strong end-to-end technology project delivery experience.
- Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams including AI/Data specialists, engineers and business stakeholders.
- Experience delivering cloud-hosted technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of technology governance, risk management and the software delivery lifecycle.
- Experience managing vendors and Saa S/technology partners.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including working with senior stakeholders.
- The ability to operate effectively in an environment with ambiguity, experimentation and competing priorities.
