The firm manages funds on behalf of a diverse institutional investor base, including pension funds, financial institutions, and sovereign wealth funds. It is recognised for its ability to leverage cross-border expertise to acquire and develop high-quality businesses.
Opportunity: This role sits within the Group Finance function and will support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and management information for key Private Equity boards, as well as senior executive stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to gain exposure to senior stakeholders and complex, international financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting for senior stakeholders
- Support the production of platform-level budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting
- Perform variance analysis and contribute to longer-term financial projections
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for group entities and liaise with auditors where required
- Support the enhancement of financial reporting processes and controls
- Work with internal teams (including operations, HR, and fund-related functions) to deliver consistent reporting
- Collaborate with international finance teams to ensure alignment of reporting across platforms
- Support reconciliation of platform-level data to consolidated financials
- Contribute to ad hoc analysis and project work as required
Skills & Attributes:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA)
- Strong academic background
- Proactive and willing to learn, with a hands-on approach
- Good communication skills, with the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders (with support)
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience in large or complex organisations is advantageous
- Strong Excel skills; exposure to reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, PowerPoint) is beneficial
