We're partnering with a UK bank to find an experienced Operational Resilience Manager to join their first line Risk & Controls team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role embedded within the 1st Line of Defence, supporting the execution and ongoing refinement of the Operational Resilience framework. You'll act as the technical SME on operational resilience matters, providing risk-based challenge and ensuring the framework drives transparency and informed decision-making around Operational.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing strong technical 1LoD support and challenge on operational resilience
  • Ensuring the operational resilience framework and tools are used as intended across the business
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to IBS owners, SMFs, and stakeholders across the bank
  • Keeping pace with the evolving FCA and PRA regulatory landscape
  • Managing one direct report and working closely with wider 1st Line Risk & Control colleagues

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a Banking Risk Management environment with recent focus on Operational Resilience
  • Strong working knowledge of Operational Resilience methodology, frameworks, and principle
  • Experience of the procedures, processes, and systems used across FS
