Overview
We are partnering with a leading international professional services organisation undergoing a significant finance transformation to appoint an experienced Head of Order to Cash / OTC Global Process Owner (GPO) at Director level. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the end to end transformation of the OTC function, with a particular focus on credit, collections, billing and cash optimisation across a complex, multi-entity global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the global Order to Cash (OTC) process, acting as the GPO across credit, billing, collections, dispute management and cash application.
- Drive transformation and optimisation initiatives to improve DSO, working capital and cash flow performance.
- Lead the design and implementation of best practice credit strategies, policies and governance frameworks across regions.
- Partner closely with Finance, Commercial and Operations teams to embed a customer centric and commercially aligned OTC model.
- Drive standardisation, process harmonisation and automation across a global shared services / SSC / GBS environment.
- Oversee third-party providers and offshore delivery teams where applicable.
- Deliver sustainable improvements through systems, data, reporting and controls enhancements.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head of OTC / OTC GPO / Head of Credit within a complex, international business.
- Strong background in professional services or similarly complex billing environments (WIP, billing cycles, revenue recognition nuances).
- Demonstrated success delivering OTC transformation programmes, including process redesign and operating model change.
- Deep expertise across credit risk, collections strategies, dispute management and cash forecasting.
- Experience working within or alongside shared services / GBS models.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at C-suite and senior leadership level.
- Experience with ERP / finance platforms (Workday Financials would be a benefit) and enabling technologies.
