An established and growing specialist insurance business is seeking an experienced IBA Technician to join its operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment supporting specialist insurance placements and ensuring the smooth administration of premium and insurer accounting activities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting brokers and operational teams, and ensuring timely settlement of accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing premiums, commissions, fees, and insurer settlements.
- Reconciling client and insurer accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitoring outstanding balances and supporting credit control activities.
- Producing and maintaining accounting reports and bordereaux.
- Managing accounting queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring accurate record keeping across internal systems.
- Supporting month-end reporting and audit requirements.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
- Assisting with process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Essential: Previous experience within an Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA) function.
- Strong understanding of insurance accounting processes and reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
