This role sits within a high-performing and collaborative FP&A team of three, reporting into senior finance leadership. You will play a key role in analysing financial performance, supporting decision-making, and providing insight into business trends within a dynamic and data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse current and historical financial data to identify trends and support profit optimisation
- Produce and review both routine and ad-hoc financial reports
- Interpret financial performance against key metrics and highlight risks and opportunities
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning processes
Candidate Profile:
- 2–3 years’ experience within FP&A or a similar financial analysis role
- Background within financial services is strongly preferred (e.g. banking, trading firms, brokerage, hedge funds, or investment management)
- Candidates from purely audit/practice backgrounds are less relevant
- Part-qualified to newly qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong academic background
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- Confident communicator with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary range: £45,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
