A leading international marine insurer is looking for a Risk & Compliance Manager to run its global regulatory compliance and risk framework — reporting directly to the CFO, with a seat on the international Group Regulatory Affairs Sub-committee.
You will own compliance across every jurisdiction the business operates in: financial crime, sanctions, conduct risk, TCF, and complaints, alongside acting as Privacy Officer for GDPR and liaising directly with the ICO. You will manage the risk register and quarterly risk sign-off process, present to the Board, and line manage a small compliance team.
Person requirements:
- Proven compliance and operational risk experience from an international insurance background
- P&I or marine market experience is a strong advantage
- The confidence to explain risk and regulatory strategy to senior stakeholders
- Hands-on GDPR/DPO exposure
This is a 6-month FTC with a genuine route to permanent, immediate start preferred.
