Our client is a leading global alternative asset manager with an established presence across Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds, Life Sciences, Growth Equity and Secondaries.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Fund Control to join their Fund Finance team, supporting a broad portfolio of European funds across multiple investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Investor Relations, fund administrators and external advisors.
  • Lead all aspects of fund accounting and administration, including monthly and quarterly NAV reporting, capital activity, distributions, management fee calculations, carried interest allocations, liquidity forecasting and expense reporting.
  • Review complex fund transactions and accounting treatments, ensuring compliance with IFRS, internal policies and industry best practice.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance across a variety of alternative investment fund structures.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen governance, enhance controls and improve operational processes.
  • Produce management reporting, financial analysis and strategic insights for senior leadership.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, administrators and tax advisors, ensuring the timely delivery of audits and statutory reporting.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members while collaborating with regional and offshore teams.
  • Support finance transformation projects, systems implementations and wider process improvement initiatives.

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant with 5+ years' post-qualified experience.
  • Experience within Private Equity, Private Credit, Alternative Asset Management or a similar investment environment.
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting, closed-ended fund structures and investor servicing.
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS. Exposure to Lux GAAP, UK GAAP or US GAAP would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring team members.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
