We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing professional services business in London. This is a broad, hands-on role supporting senior stakeholders, with responsibility for management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial controls, and statutory compliance. The position offers strong exposure to leadership and the opportunity to contribute to process improvement and commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts with variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Maintain strong financial controls, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews
- Oversee AP processes, intercompany reconciliations, and compliance reporting (e.g. VAT)
- Partner with stakeholders to provide clear financial insight
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- 1-2+ years’ experience in a senior or management accounting role, ideally within professional services
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
