The predicted salary is between 36000 - 44000 Β£ per year.

  • Assist with the preparation and review of regulatory, statutory and management reporting submissions
  • Support the production of reports and returns for regulators, lenders, investors and other external stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, control account and VAT reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting deadlines
  • Reconcile financial data between source systems, the general ledger and reporting outputs
  • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting activities
  • Produce financial and regulatory reporting packs for senior management
  • Perform variance analysis and investigate reporting discrepancies
  • Assist with data validation and quality checks to support reporting accuracy
  • Maintain reporting schedules, controls and supporting documentation
  • Liaise with Finance, Risk, Operations and Compliance teams to obtain and validate reporting information
  • Support external audit requests and respond to reporting-related queries
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, reporting efficiencies and automation projects
  • Ensure reporting activities are completed in accordance with internal controls, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT
  • A degree in a relating filed: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics etc
  • Previous experience within a finance, reporting or accounting role (Not essential)
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis
  • Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience within financial services, banking, lending, insurance or a regulated environment would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Ability to travel to Berkshire once or twice a month
