JSS are partnering with a UK challenger bank with a growing lending business, who needs an experienced product manager to run our lending range for six months. You will look after each product from first idea through launch and sale to withdrawal, speak for the customer, and make sure everything we offer stays compliant with regulation and good practice.
What you will do
- Work with the Head of Lending Products to shape strategy and the roadmap
- Own each lending product end to end, using customer insight and market and competitor activity to improve it
- Set KPIs, measure performance and recommend changes
- Build and own business cases for product changes and launches
- Partner with operations, credit and risk, the current account product lead and the digital channels lead
- Contribute to, and sometimes chair, governance forums
- Keep products compliant and manage compliance and operational risk
What we are looking for
- Experience in regulated financial services and in a lending product role, ideally with MCOBS and CCA knowledge
- Exposure to commercial, SME and real estate lending
- Strong numeracy, advanced Excel and proven digital skills
- Clear communication, sound commercial judgement and the ability to influence at every level
- Customer focus, attention to detail and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Calm and adaptable under pressure
- A degree in business, finance or economics, or a relevant professional qualification (preferred)
