JSS Search are delighted to be supporting our client, a fast growth successful business based in Watford, on the recruitment of this new Commercial Finance Analyst role. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial finance - financial planning, forecasting and management reporting. The role will assist and aid the commercial finance manager with all daily, weekly and ad hoc related tasks. This Commercial Finance Analyst will help drive sales and margin and marketing performance.

The role responsibilities will include:

  • Producing weekly commercial finance trading reports, providing insight, aiding commercial decision making
  • Stock flow reporting and weekly analysis
  • Forecasting, reporting and accounting for all promotional and marketing spend
  • Providing insight, challenge, and recommendations to drive commercial performance and decision-making
  • Supporting month end delivery of sales and margin, providing insightful variance analysis
  • Maintaining and completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing large amounts of data, summarising and explaining trends, variances and business performance

Profile:

  • Finalist or newly Qualified Accountant
  • Ideally experience analysing sales revenue, margins and costs
  • Experienced in analysing P&L's, gross margin, marketing spend and cost of sales
  • Good excel skills and data analysis

On Offer: Highly competitive salary of circa £50,000 and benefits package. Hybrid working.
