A leading commercial insurance broker with a UK wide network are seeking an Operational Excellence Consultant to analyse, assess and recommend changes needed to underperforming branches to increase operational efficiency and increase capacity.

Roles involve:

  • Identify the branches that have reduced efficiency through data analysis.
  • Visit the branches to understand the cause of the differences identified in the productivity of individual branches, whether that is people, structure, process, use of technology or control related.
  • Develop action plans to realise direct savings within the branches that are over-capacity without impacting client service.
  • Develop the target operating model for SME and mid-corporate segments, taking into account the relative value of those segments and client service expectations.
  • Focus on waste elimination through direct work carve-out or AI/automation enablement.

Skills Needed:

  • Direct experience of capacity creation or direct cost reduction through similar activity in an insurance broker.
  • Knowledge of AI capabilities and ideally experience in deploying AI with ROI evidenced.
  • Data-literate – able to absorb and synthesise large amounts of data specifically to derive questions to be answered or actions to be taken to realise the required outcomes.
  • Experience of TOM design and change implementation.

This is an outside IR35 day rate contract role. The role is remote working but with regular England wide travel on a weekly and bi-weekly basis depending on needs.
