JSS Search are delighted to be partnering with a leading international speciality insurer to hire a Group Tax Manager based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in a leading accountancy practice and looking to make their first move in-house.
As Group Tax Manager, you will report directly to a highly experienced Head of Tax and support a broad range of tax matters for the group, including compliance, reporting, and project-based advisory work. From a delivery perspective, you will work closely with other teams across finance, as well as external advisers, particularly in relation to group reporting and the compliance process.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, CA, ACCA) and have, at minimum, a strong grounding in UK corporate tax matters. Given the nature of the role and the fact that this is a two-person tax team, any working knowledge of VAT or international tax would be advantageous. Prior experience within the insurance sector — or financial services more broadly — is highly desirable, although not essential.
This is a full‑time, permanent position offered on a hybrid basis, with two days per week spent in the office. The role also includes a guaranteed bonus and access to a comprehensive range of flexible benefits.
