I'm currently partnering with a rapidly expanding international organisation that is investing heavily across the UK and European markets. As part of this growth journey, my client is seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Manager to lead the development and execution of compensation programmes that support business expansion, talent attraction and workforce scalability across multiple countries. This is a strategic and highly visible role, partnering with senior HR and business leaders to ensure compensation frameworks remain competitive, equitable and aligned with commercial objectives. Given the nature of the organisation's growth, experience supporting large-scale Supply Chain and Procurement populations is essential.
The Opportunity
As Senior Compensation Manager, you will take ownership of compensation strategy, governance and programme delivery across a diverse European workforce. You will play a critical role in designing scalable reward frameworks that support the attraction and retention of talent within operational, supply chain, procurement and corporate functions. This position offers the opportunity to influence compensation decisions during a period of significant organisational transformation and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation and ongoing refinement of compensation frameworks across the UK and Europe.
- Partner with HR, Finance and business leaders to ensure reward programmes align with business strategy and growth objectives.
- Manage annual compensation processes, including salary reviews, bonus planning and incentive programme administration.
- Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure competitive positioning across key talent segments.
- Develop and maintain job architecture, grading and compensation structures across multiple countries.
- Provide strategic compensation support to Supply Chain and Procurement leadership teams.
- Design and evaluate short and long-term incentive programmes that drive performance and support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation, governance requirements and internal reward policies.
- Deliver compensation modelling and analytics to support business planning, workforce expansion and talent acquisition.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams on offer management, pay positioning and critical hiring decisions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all compensation-related matters.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Significant experience within Compensation, Reward or Total Rewards functions.
- Strong expertise in compensation programme design, benchmarking, salary structures and incentive plans.
- Essential experience supporting Supply Chain and Procurement employee populations.
- Experience working across multiple European countries and compensation frameworks.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into commercial recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leadership teams.
- Knowledge of reward governance, compliance and compensation best practice.
- Advanced Excel and compensation modelling skills.
- Experience within high-growth, fast-paced or transformational environments would be highly advantageous.
