We are seeking an M&A Integrations Manager (Finance) to play a critical role in post acquisition integrations. This position sits at the heart of the M&A strategy, owning the most complex and business critical element of each integration: client money, financial reconciliation, and data integrity.

You will work hands‑on across newly acquired businesses to assess, clean, and migrate financial and operational data into the central platform while also helping to build scalable processes, tooling, and best practice for future integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed reviews of client ledgers and financial data within newly acquired businesses.
  • Identify reconciliation risks, regulatory issues, and data integrity gaps early in the integration lifecycle.
  • Provide clear, actionable insight to integration leadership within tight timeframes.
  • Clean, reconcile, and validate complex, multi-source financial data.
  • Lead the migration of data from legacy systems into a unified platform.
  • Work closely with operational teams, finance, product and engineering to resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Produce accurate, combined financial reporting across pre and post migration periods.
  • Support tax reporting outputs aligned to self-assessment requirements.
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy for end users, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to define data structures, validation rules, and automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to building a scalable, tech-enabled reconciliation capability.
  • Shape how AI and automation are applied across financial operations.
Process & Capability Build
  • Develop standard operating procedures, templates, and integration playbooks.
  • Capture repeatable patterns and embed them into scalable processes.
  • Support the build-out of the integration and finance capability as the business grows.
On-Site Integration Delivery
  • Travel regularly across the UK to support integrations on the ground.
  • Engage with acquired leadership teams and local stakeholders to drive successful transitions.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • M&A / In-house experience.
  • Background in one or more of: FinTech / payments / marketplaces.
  • Big 4 (audit or transaction services).
  • Proven ability to work through messy, unstructured data and resolve issues quickly.
  • Track record operating in fast-paced, high-growth or transformation environments.
  • Strong systems and data capability (advanced Excel essential; SQL beneficial).
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.
  • Highly adaptable, proactive and willing to travel extensively.
