A listed international business is seeking a commercially minded Head of People to lead and evolve its people agenda during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
Reporting directly to the People Director, this is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping and delivering the people strategy across multiple international regions. You'll lead a team of 4 HR professionals and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains top talent while maintaining a high-performance, values-driven culture.
Key responsibilities:- Developing and delivering the people strategy, aligning talent, culture and organisational objectives with wider business goals
- Leading and developing an international HR team, driving best practice across employee relations, engagement, wellbeing and performance
- Partnering with senior leadership to provide commercially focused people insights, workforce planning and organisational guidance
- Managing complex employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
- Overseeing payroll, reward and benefits programmes, ensuring fairness, consistency and market competitiveness
- Driving continuous improvement across engagement, leadership capability, performance management and employee experience
- Managing HR budgets, resources and priorities across multiple regions
- Supporting organisational change, transformation and culture initiatives
- Significant experience leading a broad HR/People function within a complex, multi-site or international environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations and HR compliance
- Experience managing and developing HR teams
- The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders while maintaining a highly collaborative approach
- A commercially focused mindset, with the ability to use data and insight to inform decision-making
- Experience operating within fast-paced, evolving businesses
- A relevant HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent)
- Competitive base salary (£70,000-£80,000)
