We're working with a fast-growing UK direct principal investor and investment manager focused on real estate and related real asset transactions to find a Head of Finance, a rare opportunity to build and own the finance function of a genuinely entrepreneurial platform.
About the business:
The firm owns a controlling position in a renewable energy platform undergoing rapid growth, having recently completed a joint venture with a major institutional infrastructure investor to scale operations significantly. It also owns a separate operating company run by its own founder-executive team, and acts as exclusive investment manager to three dedicated UK-only industrial and logistics vehicles with a combined gross asset value of just under £900m today - expected to grow beyond £1.5bn by the end of 2025.
Capital for its platforms comes from a mix of institutional and HNW investors, including best-in-class multi-billion-dollar institutional co-investors. The firm expects to grow into 5–6 distinct investment 'verticals' over the next two years.
It's an entrepreneurial, high-energy environment - not capital-constrained, but deliberately run with a start-up culture where people work across broad mandates and bring new initiatives to the table. Core values: tenacity, creativity, humility, empathy, and candour.
