JSS Search is partnering with a highly regarded and rapidly growing investment management platform to hire an FP&A Analyst into its Group Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling, internationally focused business operating across multiple alternative investment strategies and long-term thematic sectors. The role offers broad exposure across strategic planning, commercial finance, acquisitions and finance transformation within a lean, high-performing environment. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing the group FP&A function as the business continues to grow internationally.
The position will focus on budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and performance analysis, whilst also supporting the evolution of more scalable, data-driven and AI-enabled finance processes. The role combines strong commercial exposure with hands-on analytical responsibility and would suit someone looking to operate in a highly visible and evolving finance environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support and develop group budgeting, forecasting and monthly outlook processes, delivering clear variance analysis and commercial insight.
- Build and maintain long-range financial models and strategic planning analysis.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across investment, operational and central functions to understand business performance and key drivers.
- Support acquisitions and integration activity through financial modelling, scenario analysis and performance tracking.
- Assist with the development of group-wide KPIs and management reporting frameworks across multiple business lines and jurisdictions.
- Prepare board-level and investor-facing analysis and presentations.
- Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including automation, reporting enhancement and AI-enabled analysis tools.
- Help improve finance systems, reporting capability and data quality across the wider group.
- Support the development of scalable FP&A processes suited to a growing international platform.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Experience within FP&A, commercial finance, transaction services or a related analytical finance role.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to acquisitions, integration or change/transformation activity would be advantageous.
- Strong Excel skills are essential; experience with BI, reporting or planning tools is beneficial.
- Interest or experience in automation, AI-enabled reporting or finance transformation initiatives would be highly attractive.
- Prior asset management or broader financial services exposure is helpful but not essential.
- High visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership.
