A leading global investment and asset management platform is seeking an experienced FP&A leader to support financial oversight and strategic reporting across a diversified real assets portfolio. The business manages a broad mix of asset classes including commercial property, residential, hospitality, logistics, and specialist operational real estate investments across multiple international markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring portfolio reporting quality, supporting fund-level financial processes, and delivering meaningful commercial insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyse portfolio performance metrics, forecasts, and operational assumptions across multiple business lines and jurisdictions.
- Deliver financial and strategic analysis to senior stakeholders, highlighting sector trends, performance drivers, and portfolio developments.
- Act as a central finance contact for international teams, responding to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests.
- Support investor reporting, fundraising initiatives, and recurring fund-level deliverables.
- Coordinate with asset management, finance, valuation, and external advisory teams to oversee quarterly investment valuation processes.
- Review valuation methodologies and business plan assumptions to ensure consistency and alignment with market standards.
- Assess operational and commercial drivers impacting portfolio performance and forecast outcomes.
- Challenge forecasting assumptions and identify key drivers of value creation and returns.
- Assist with onboarding new investments and implementing reporting processes and governance standards.
- Monitor liquidity and funding requirements across portfolio entities.
- Support strategic projects, scenario analysis, and additional finance initiatives as required.
Candidate Profile
- Experience within FP&A, portfolio finance, transaction services, valuation, or investment finance environments.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and valuation methodologies.
- Exposure to complex transactions including acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, or structured investments.
- Commercially minded with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across finance and investment teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international, multi-entity environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong ownership mentality with a solutions-focused approach.
Preferred Background
- Qualified Accountant with 5-10+ years qualified experience.
- Exposure to real assets, infrastructure, private capital, or real estate sectors preferred.
