We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented French-speaking Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of a growing financial services business.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, while assisting with quarter‑end finance activities.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting processes and develop a strong understanding of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers.
- Prepare and process supplier and customer payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies.
- Support credit control activities and customer account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support quarter‑end close activities, including preparing journals and reports.
- Respond to internal and external finance-related queries.
- Help identify opportunities to improve finance processes and controls.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken).
- An interest or desire to work within a finance team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Eager to learn, proactive and able to work effectively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
- Desired but not essential
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline is desirable or an active AAT studier.
- Previous finance or office administration experience is advantageous.
