I am working with a highly successful boutique consultancy who are looking for 2-3 permanent Workiva Consultants following huge client growth after accreditation as a preferred Workiva specialist. Being a boutique firm, my client can be far more agile and reactive than the large firms in this space, offering a great opportunity for someone to propel their growth.
This role would suit someone who is a part or fully qualified accountant or consultant with prior experience in supporting Workiva system implementations or transformation projects, either from industry or from a consulting practice. Note: this is a permanent role, so candidates on a day rate contracting basis cannot be considered.
In this role you will:
- Build business case and strategy documents prior to delivery
- Draft data strategies that support both initial and follow-on implementation
- Map business requirements to system capabilities providing recommendations
- Support the team in delivering transformation projects covering both strategy and planning through to implementation and training
- Attend and drive client meetings and workshops
- Perform current state assessments and GAP analysis
- Review client processes and policies and propose improvements
- Document business processes when embedded
- Monitor progress and manage risk
You must have:
- Experience in accounting and finance - part or qualified preferred
- Workiva Certification(s), with at least 2 years of hands-on Workiva experience including wdata
- A few years of experience in industry or management consulting
- Proven examples of leading Finance transformation/finance improvement projects
- Process improvement/automation experience in RTR, PTP or OTC
- Systems knowledge, e.g. AR/AP, expense, finance close, reporting, consolidation, internal controls tools
This is a remote role, but ad-hoc travel will be required to meet client needs. Given their requirement, my client can consider different levels of experience but must have Workiva and be happy with a permanent role and salary.
