JSS Tax are hiring for an International Tax Specialist with a leading international travel company. This is a permanent role based in their Central London office, supporting up to 3 days per week remote working. The role comes with a salary of circa £65k-£75k plus 10% bonus and a great benefits package.
Working closely with the International Tax Senior Manager, the International Tax Specialist will look after tax affairs of the business in the UK and across EMEA, covering both direct tax and indirect tax work. The Tax Specialist will have a varied role combining compliance management (generally review of externally prepared tax returns), general tax advisory and business partnering, and international tax project work e.g. Pillar 2, Transfer Pricing, Cbc reporting.
The company are looking for someone with some UK tax experience in either VAT or corporate tax; experience in both is beneficial but not mandatory. Similarly, prior international tax experience would be helpful, but the company are also happy to take someone with a UK tax background and develop their international tax skills whilst in the role.
More important than the experience is someone with willingness to learn, strong communication skills who enjoys acting as a tax business partner, and someone keen to develop and willing to progress into a more senior position role in the future.
