JSS are supporting a leading organisation in the appointment of an Interim Finance Process Lead (AP/AR) to support the finance function during a period of change. This is a project-focused contract (Outside IR35), centred on reviewing and enhancing transactional finance processes. The role will focus on improving efficiency, strengthening controls, and driving better consistency across AP and AR activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying process improvements, strengthening controls, and maximising the capability of D365 across finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess current AP, AR and wider finance operations processes
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable process improvements
  • Help embed and stabilise the new transactional finance operating model
  • Drive process standardisation and consistency across teams
  • Strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks
  • Work closely with the Transactional Finance Lead to support change adoption
  • Optimise usage of D365, ensuring the business is leveraging full system capability
  • Deliver improvements in a live operational environment, not just design/diagnostic
Candidate Profile
  • Strong background across transactional finance (AP, AR, finance ops)
  • Hands-on experience in embedding change within live finance environments
  • D365 experience (non-negotiable) – particularly post-implementation optimisation
  • Experience improving system utilisation, not leading ERP implementations
  • Comfortable operating in lean teams with operational complexity
  • Finance led profile (not a systems/ERP consultant)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
  • Able to operate hands-on and autonomously
