An experienced IFRS 17 contractor is sought to support BAU reporting during a period of significant change at a leading London Market insurer. You will join a collaborative finance team, producing and reviewing IFRS 17 outputs across monthly and quarterly cycles, ensuring accuracy and smooth delivery.

Key focus:

  • End-to-end BAU IFRS 17 reporting, ensuring compliance and high-quality outputs
  • Reviewing and validating data from multiple sources, resolving discrepancies and ensuring audit-ready documentation
  • Partnering with Actuarial, FP&A and Group Finance to understand drivers, analyse movements and support commentary
  • Supporting controls, governance and documentation, helping to strengthen processes as the business evolves
  • Identifying improvement opportunities across data flow, systems, reporting packs and reconciliations
  • Working closely within a team navigating significant change, providing stability, continuity and technical rigour

You’ll need:

  • Strong BAU IFRS 17 experience
  • London Market / GI background
  • Ability to embed quickly and work effectively in a changing environment
