JSS are hiring for a Group Tax Accountant position with a large, listed UK group.
This is a full-time permanent role based in their Worcestershire head office, but supporting 3 days per week remote working.
This is a genuinely broad role covering both Direct and Indirect Tax, making it ideal for a qualified tax professional looking to move from practice into industry, or an existing in-house tax professional looking to broaden their experience.
You’ll work closely with senior tax leaders across the business, taking ownership of key compliance, reporting and advisory activities, including:
- Reviewing UK and overseas Corporation Tax and VAT returns.
- Supporting tax accounting, reporting and statutory disclosures.
- Assisting with tax audits, transfer pricing and tax governance.
- Advising on business projects and legislative changes, including Pillar 2.
- Supporting tax technology, automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with Finance, Legal, auditors and external advisers.
- Analysing tax data and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
