We’re supporting a high-growth, digitally-led financial services business in the appointment of a Group Financial Controller. This is a senior leadership role within a complex, regulated environment, offering significant exposure to the CFO and executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead group consolidation and reporting, delivering accurate and timely outputs to ExCo and Board
  • Own statutory reporting and oversee the external audit process
  • Act as the lead on technical accounting (IFRS) across a multi-entity structure
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes
  • Partner cross-functionally to support strategic and commercial decision-making
  • Build and develop a high-performing group finance team

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant - audit trained (ACA or equivalent)
  • Strong group reporting experience within a complex financial services environment (banking, lending, fintech or broader FS)
  • Deep understanding of IFRS and technical accounting
  • Experience in a regulated business
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving organisation
