This role sits within a high-performing and collaborative FP&A team of three, reporting into senior finance leadership. You will play a key role in analysing financial performance, supporting decision-making, and providing insight into business trends within a dynamic and data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse current and historical financial data to identify trends and support profit optimisation
  • Produce and review both routine and ad-hoc financial reports
  • Interpret financial performance against key metrics and highlight risks and opportunities
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning processes

Candidate Profile

  • 2–3 years’ experience within FP&A or a similar financial analysis role
  • Background within financial services is strongly preferred (e.g. banking, trading firms, brokerage, hedge funds, or investment management)
  • Candidates from purely audit/practice backgrounds are less relevant
  • Part-qualified to newly qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Strong academic background
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary range: £45,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

  • Hybrid working (3 days per week in office)
