JSS are partnered with a global specialty MGA business where they are looking for an FP&A Manager to join the group finance function. This is a high‑visibility role with regular interaction with senior leadership, supporting strategic and financial decision‑making across multiple business areas including broking, MGA, insurance, and reinsurance.

Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and quarterly group FP&A reporting across:
- Brokerage performance (by broker, class, and office)
- MGA performance (by programme, class, binder, and geography)
- Underwriting performance (insurance and reinsurance entities)
- Capital adequacy, solvency, and regulatory metrics
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior stakeholders across underwriting, actuarial, risk, finance, and operations.
- Provide clear analysis, constructive challenge, and recommendations
- Produce accurate and timely outputs suitable for executive, Board, and regulatory use.
Team & Governance
- Act as a senior reference point within the FP&A function
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Maintain strong controls, documentation standards, and attention to detail
Personal Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, CAANZ, ICAI) with proven experience in FP&A across insurance, reinsurance, broking, or MGA environments - essential
- Strong understanding of underwriting across financial performance, with the ability to business partner across the different insurance verticals
- Advanced financial modeling and analytics with exposure to different planning systems
- Solid technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP & IFRS)
- Confident communicator with senior‑stakeholder engagement experience
