A confidential, private equity-backed wealth management platform is seeking a Finance Director to join a rapidly growing business. The organisation operates a national advisory network supported by a proprietary technology platform and in-house investment capabilities. It has ambitious expansion plans through both organic growth and acquisitions, with a strong focus on scalable infrastructure, operational excellence and long-term value creation.
The Role
The Finance Director will build and lead an institutional-quality finance function, partnering closely with the Board and executive team to support strategic growth, financial performance and governance. The role spans financial control, FP&A, board reporting, commercial finance, cash management and business partnering.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop a best-in-class finance function capable of supporting a high-growth business.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Provide commercial insight and strategic decision support to the Board and executive leadership.
- Develop high-quality Board reporting with meaningful commercial analysis.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive performance and deliver business objectives.
- Oversee financial control, accounting processes and external service providers.
- Manage liquidity, cash flow and capital planning.
- Support evaluation of acquisitions, investments and strategic initiatives.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- ACA qualified with significant post-qualified leadership experience.
- Experience in regulated financial services environments.
- Wealth, asset management, private markets or other relevant financial services experience preferred.
- Proven ability to build high-performing finance teams and influence senior stakeholders.
