A global, privately assets investment group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager to join its Group Risk function. This pivotal role will lead the development and delivery of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across a diverse portfolio of investment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the enterprise-wide risk management framework.
- Lead risk assessment processes, including identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting key risks.
- Maintain the risk register, risk appetite documentation and key risk indicators.
- Conduct incident reviews and root-cause analysis, and drive remediation actions.
- Partner with business and functional leads to strengthen internal controls and embed risk management practices.
- Support oversight of operational risk, investment risk, outsourcing/third-party risk and treasury risk.
- Identify emerging and thematic risks (e.g., cyber, geopolitical, climate).
- Prepare high-quality reporting for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Contribute to operational resilience, business continuity and crisis-management planning.
- Provide cover for senior risk leadership when required.
Experience & Skills
- Strong background in enterprise and operational risk within investment management (Private Assets experience needed).
- Experience delivering risk improvement or transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience with modern risk tools, decisioning systems and AI.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Strong analytical, communication and project-management skills.
- Familiarity with modern risk systems or GRC tools.
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on.
Location & Working Pattern
Hybrid model: three days per week in the office.
