JSS Tax are hiring for a part-time in-house Tax Manager for the sales and distribution arm of a large multinational conglomerate. This is a permanent, part-time role (circa 25-30 hours per week) covering the European region. The role is based out of their Hertfordshire office with a hybrid working policy. The position comes with a salary of circa £80k-£90k pro-rata.
Responsibilities include:
- Corporate tax:
- Management of outsourced CT compliance for the UK and branches in Europe
- Deferred tax computations
- Country-by-country reporting
- General CT advisory and oversight of tax compliance processes
- Prepare TP documentation for all countries and benchmarking analysis
- Advise senior management on the Transfer Pricing impact of new acquisitions
- Adapt and improve Transfer Pricing policies
- Prepare monthly/quarterly VAT returns
- Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure VAT compliance in all locations
- Oversight of VAT returns submission for the UK and Europe
- Advise senior management on VAT issues, particularly on cross-border transactions
