JSS Tax are hiring for an EMEA Tax Manager for a leading sporting brand based in Surrey (supporting hybrid working arrangements). This is a permanent, full-time role paying circa £65,000-£80,000 plus bonus/benefits package.
The EMEA Tax Manager will take on a mixed tax role covering both direct tax and indirect tax, with the bias towards VAT and Indirect tax. The role has a great mix of project work, advisory & business partnering, reporting & compliance and general tax risk management.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate tax compliance activities across the UK and EMEA region
- Oversee VAT filings, recovery processes, and accounting treatment, as well as EC Sales Lists, VIES submissions, and other cross-border reporting requirements.
- Also responsible for Corporation Tax filings along with P11D and PSA reporting.
- Improvement to indirect tax risk management processes and procedures
- Serve as a VAT subject matter expert, providing clear and practical guidance to stakeholders across the business
- Act as the primary liaison with tax authorities and external advisors
- Support tax reporting and provisioning, and collaborate with the US Tax team to ensure alignment with the global tax strategy
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation across EMEA and advise the business on its potential impact
