The EMEA Tax Manager will take on a mixed tax role covering both direct tax and indirect tax, with the bias towards VAT and Indirect tax. The role has a great mix of project work, advisory & business partnering, reporting & compliance and general tax risk management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coordinate tax compliance activities across the UK and EMEA region
  • Oversee VAT filings, recovery processes, and accounting treatment, as well as EC Sales Lists, VIES submissions, and other cross-border reporting requirements.
  • Also responsible for Corporation Tax filings along with P11D and PSA reporting.
  • Improvement to indirect tax risk management processes and procedures
  • Serve as a VAT subject matter expert, providing clear and practical guidance to stakeholders across the business
  • Act as the primary liaison with tax authorities and external advisors
  • Support tax reporting and provisioning, and collaborate with the US Tax team to ensure alignment with the global tax strategy
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation across EMEA and advise the business on its potential impact

The role would suit someone with mixed tax experience who is looking for a varied international role with a growing business in an exciting sector. However, it would equally suit a VAT / Indirect tax specialist who is interested in gaining direct tax experience, or perhaps an Indirect Tax Manager looking for their first industry role.
