A listed financial services firm is looking to appoint a Head of FP&A to lead group-level financial planning, performance analysis, and investor-grade reporting. The role is highly visible, partnering closely with the investment team, CFO, and senior leadership, with a strong emphasis on listed / public-company standard FP&A and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the end-to-end FP&A function across the group, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Deliver high-quality, board- and investor-ready MI aligned to listed-company standards.
  • Provide forward-looking analysis to support portfolio performance, value creation initiatives, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Partner closely with the investment team on portfolio analysis, return modelling, and scenario planning.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models covering P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, and key KPIs.
  • Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, financial insight, and FP&A processes.
  • Support external reporting requirements and ensure alignment between internal FP&A and external disclosures.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the FP&A team.

Personal Profile

  • Proven experience as a Head of FP&A or senior FP&A leader within a listed business or PLC environment - essential.
  • Strong understanding of public-market FP&A, investor expectations, and board-level reporting.
  • Experience working in or closely with private equity, investment-led, or highly commercial environments.
  • Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capability.
  • Confident senior stakeholder partner, able to influence and challenge at executive and investment-committee level.
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
