I am currently recruiting for a Director of Quality & Governance to lead a rapidly growing institution on their academic quality, standards, regulatory compliance and governance agenda. This is a high-profile leadership role for an individual with the credibility, agility and strategic judgement to operate at executive level while driving delivery across a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
You will:
- Provide strategic leadership for academic quality, standards and governance across the institution
- Lead engagement with regulators, awarding bodies and external partners
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OfS framework
- Drive the continuous enhancement of governance structures and committees
- Oversee institutional reporting, quality monitoring, risk management and performance analysis
- Lead and develop a high-performing quality and governance team
Essential Requirements:
- Significant senior-level experience in academic quality assurance, governance or regulatory compliance within higher education
- Strong understanding of OfS requirements, academic standards and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience leading teams and driving institutional improvement
