My Global Manufacturing client is looking for a SQL Developer to join a D365 data migration programme. This is a remote based role with 1 day a month in the office based in Hampshire.
TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extensive experience in the MS SQL Server platform.
- Developing a mix of hybrid solutions leveraging SSIS, SSRS, SQL Agent, Microsoft Azure, including Synapse, Data Factory and Dataverse.
- Can support and maintain code beyond T-SQL including PowerShell and JavaScript.
- Can support and maintain application connectivity using APIs, FTP and SFTP.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining T-SQL, PowerShell scripts, and code as required.
- Proficient in manipulating and working with a range of data formats including JSON, XML, delimited text, Excel, etc.
- Familiarity with .NET development, Microsoft tools and DevOps.
- Responsible for the development of data pipelines, transformations and data maintenance.
- Assist in implementing best practice for information and document management.
- Gather requirements, make recommendations and estimate effort to complete work.
- Interpret and design database models (SQL Server, Azure DB, Dataverse, etc).
- Develop integrations between operational systems.
- Good foundational knowledge of Office 365 platforms, including Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.
Experience/Knowledge
- Multiple yearsβ development involving SQL Server / Azure SQL and related technologies.
- D365 data migration experience.
- Good experience developing with PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
- Exposure to multi-platform integration, preferably involving MS Azure.
- Experience in an Agile development life cycle (SCRUM, RAD, KANBAN) using Azure DevOps or similar.
- MS Power Platform technologies particularly PowerApps.
- C# development.
