Interim ERP Project Manager – Carve-Out
Location: Hybrid (London)
Engagement: Contract / Interim
Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
Scope of Work
The Interim ERP Project Manager will lead the ERP separation and transition workstream as part of a large-scale carve-out. The current ERP is Microsoft Dynamics, and the future ERP platform is yet to be selected. The role will involve managing the disentanglement of systems, data migration planning, and vendor selection support, followed by implementation oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ERP carve-out strategy, including separation planning and execution
- Manage the ERP vendor selection process (RFI/RFP, evaluation, and recommendation)
- Oversee data migration, interface mapping, and cutover planning
- Coordinate with business units, IT, and third-party vendors
- Ensure continuity of business operations during transition
- Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Support post-go-live stabilization and handover to BAU
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering ERP projects in carve-out or M&A environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (AX, NAV, or D365) and other Tier 1/2 ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Experience with ERP selection processes and vendor management
- Familiarity with data migration, master data management, and integration planning
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles
