JSS Tax are hiring for an in-house Employment Tax Manager for a leading leisure company based in Watford (with hybrid working arrangements). This is a newly-created permanent full-time role paying circa £60k-£80k plus 15% bonus and benefits package.
Reporting into the Senior Tax Manager, the Employment Tax Advisor will take on a UK focused employment tax role with a mix of responsibilities:
- PAYE and PSA returns
- P11D's and P46s
- IR35
- Employee expenses analysis
On top this person would also get the chance to be involved in some indirect tax work covering VAT returns, VAT coding and reverse charge reports. This role involves hands-on compliance in the above areas, but interestingly has a high percentage of advisory work, business partnering and responding to employment tax queries from across the group.
It's a great opportunity for someone with UK employment tax experience who is looking for an in-house role with a good advisory element to it, and for someone looking for a position where they can use their interpersonal skills and commercial mindset to add value to a fast-growing business in an exciting sector.
