JSS Tax are hiring for a Senior Tax Accountant for a leading financial services business based in Central London (supporting 3 days per week remote working). The position comes with a salary of circa £60k-£70k plus bonus and benefits package. Reporting to the EMEA Tax Manager, the Senior Tax Accountant will take on a varied role focusing on the UK business but also supporting the business across the EMEA region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing UK corporate tax compliance, including tax computations and returns
- Overseeing VAT returns and indirect tax matters
- Supporting year-end reporting and audits from a tax perspective
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing business impact
- Acting as the main point of contact with HMRC and external tax advisers
- Providing tax input on new products, transactions, and strategic projects
- Supporting junior team members with guidance and review
About You
- Significant experience in tax within financial services or a professional services firm
- Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and VAT
- Comfortable working in a regulated environment
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
