JSS are pleased to be partnered with a high growth, scale up renewable energy business on a newly created hire in their lean finance team. We are looking for a candidate available in less than 1 month with plenty of experience with SPV accounting for this Senior role within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee of the TopCos by managing and supporting the internal accountant and ensure adherence to various reporting deadlines.
  • Assist our investors on all financial matters including monthly reporting.
  • Oversee the assistant accountant in managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and receipts.
  • Oversee a portfolio of SPVs by managing and supporting outsourced external accountants responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of financial records including the timely preparation of management accounts and annual accounts.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of internal consolidation including the analysis of financial data across multiple entities, generation trends and key insights that impact investor reporting, and coordinating with internal and external asset management team.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly VAT of the VAT groups.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all banking matters.
  • Support the deal team at the financial due diligence stage for acquisitions and investments.
  • Support the Finance Director in preparing and maintaining ongoing compliance and reporting for a variety of debt structures including but not limited to, asset backed securities, revolving credit facilities and project finance.
  • Develop internal financial controls and monitor systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
  • Implement financial systems and software upgrades as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a senior financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Dynamics or similar).
  • Experience in Real Assets, Infrastructure or Renewable Energy.
  • Familiarity with debt reporting obligations (e.g., project finance, revolving credit facilities etc).
