Who?

A leading UK-based procurement consultancy are looking to add a number of heads to the team due to growth. They work across both public and private sectors. They deliver managed procurement, consulting, and transformation support, often embedding teams within client organisations. Strong in regulated and complex environments, they focus on savings, commercial strategy, compliance, and modernising procurement through digital tools and supplier partnerships.

They are looking mostly for people who fit into one or more of the following areas:

  • Strong procurement experience in the Infrastructure, rail, construction industries.
  • Public sector expertise: Civil Service Fast Stream or central government background, with exposure to complex procurement programmes.
  • Legal knowledge: Contract law or a law degree is highly valued (but not essential), particularly in applying regulation. For junior candidates without consulting experience this would be a big tick!
  • Procurement Act experience – direct implementation experience (or having delivered Civil Service training on it) will make you stand out.
  • Experience working in a Procurement Consultancy is not essential at a junior level if you can display strong commercial acumen.

Location: Offered on a remote contract with travel to client site as required. There is a London office you can use for those who prefer being in!

Salaries: £45k – £75k + Bonus (dependent on level)
