A leading UK procurement consultancy (public sector led) is looking for an IT Procurement specialist to support Central Government clients on complex sourcing and Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) change.
What you’ll do
- Advise on PA23 and embed compliant approaches into templates, governance, processes and approvals
- Produce high-quality written outputs (strategies, procurement documentation, evaluation models, audit trail)
- Engage senior stakeholders and support multi-workstream programmes under scrutiny
What we’re looking for
- Public sector pedigree: Civil Service Fast Stream and/or Central Government experience in consulting or directly within government
- PA23 expertise: strong understanding essential; implementation experience or delivering PA23 training is a big plus
- Legal/regulatory confidence: contract law exposure or a law degree highly valued (not essential)
- Proven IT category experience and strong commercial judgement
- Work on high-profile Central Government programmes with real impact
- Become a go-to specialist of PA23 + IT procurement
- Strong consulting platform: structured development, collaborative team, exposure to senior stakeholders
