Management Accountant – Venture Capital (Mostly Remote)
JSS Search is partnering with a fast‑growing, global Venture Capital firm to recruit a Management Accountant into their expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded accounting professional who enjoys hands‑on financial work alongside international business partnering.
The Role
You will play a key role in the month‑end close process across multiple international entities, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and effective collaboration with stakeholders across several regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and review month‑end close for multiple entities
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, resolving variances
- Act as a finance partner to international teams, providing insight and support
- Assist with expense reporting, analysis, and policy compliance
- Support ad‑hoc accounting tasks and finance process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance or accounting
- Part‑qualified or qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and month‑end processes
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with experience working across global teams
- Experience in a multinational or multi‑entity environment
- Exposure to expense management systems
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative team
