About the Role: We are seeking a Systems Accountant to lead the ERP Accounting and Treasury Management data readiness process in preparation for a new ERP system implementation. This is a key role within the finance function, owning the design and execution of data readiness, cleansing, and migration activities. The successful candidate will ensure seamless integration into the new system while supporting process improvements across accounting and treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and cleansing of accounting data in advance of ERP implementation, establishing processes that can continue beyond the project.
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany elimination journal entries to support successful data migration and cut-off procedures.
- Implement improvements to the month-end close process based on previous experience and system UAT testing.
- Respond to queries from external auditors related to project work.
- Support special, one-off finance projects as required.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets effectively.
- Experience in data management and ERP system implementations.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP implementation is highly advantageous.
