JSS are partnered with an international specialty insurer where they are looking for an External Reporting Manager to join the business on a maternity cover. You will be supporting the Luxembourg team with external reporting and quarterly regulatory returns (both Luxembourg and PRA).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under Lux GAAP
- Review the general ledger each month to ensure accuracy and strong controls
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings to the CAA
- Support Solvency II reporting and ongoing projects to processes and controls
- Work collaboratively with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Risk, Actuarial, and other teams to gather financial information
- Act as the main contact for external auditors
- Coordinate audit requests and ensure timely delivery of information
Personal Profile:
- Qualified accountant or qualified by experience within the insurance industry
- Extensive regulatory reporting experience, either SII, CAA, or EIOPA
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to deal with auditors and queries
- Extensive knowledge in regulatory controls, with the ability to report accurately and to quarterly and yearly reporting timelines
- Immediately available or on maximum of 1 month notice
